ABOUT US
We are a film and media production company specialising in feature films, short films, music videos, and web series. With a full web series and a feature film currently in development, we are building our post-production team and seeking a talented Film Editor to shape the narrative, pace, and visual tone of our upcoming projects.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a project-based role. The Film Editor will work closely with the director and producers to assemble scenes, refine story flow, and create a cohesive and engaging final cut. You must have strong storytelling instincts, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate within a fast-paced production environment. The role covers editing for both our web series and feature film.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit full-length sequences for the web series and feature film
• Assemble raw footage into a coherent narrative aligned with the director’s vision
• Implement pacing, rhythm, timing, and emotional tone across scenes
• Manage sound design elements, dialogue editing, temp music, and basic SFX
• Work with colourists, sound designers, and VFX teams during post-production
• Prepare rough cuts, fine cuts, and final exports
• Maintain organised project files, bins, and media workflows
• Provide creative input to improve narrative clarity and dramatic impact
• Follow post-production schedules and delivery deadlines
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience editing films, short films, or episodic content
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating cinematic storytelling and pacing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer
• Strong knowledge of post-production workflows and file management
• Ability to work with multiple camera formats, codecs, and timelines
• Good understanding of colour correction, sound prep, and temp audio
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
BONUS SKILLS (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Experience with VFX integration and compositing
• Colour grading experience
• Editing experience in thriller, drama, horror, or cinematic genres
• Motion graphics or title design skills
• Understanding of narrative structure and story beats
