ABOUT US

We are a film and media production company specialising in feature films, music videos, and web series. With a full web series and a feature film currently in development, we are expanding our production crew and seeking a skilled Cameraman to support our cinematography team across upcoming shoots.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Cameraman will work closely with the Cinematographer/DP and Director to operate cameras during production. This is a project-based role involving in-house productions and collaborative work across various shooting styles, genres, and environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, steady operation skills, and a keen eye for detail and composition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate cameras (handheld, gimbal, tripod, slider, or rig-based) during filming
• Assist the Cinematographer with shot execution, framing, focus, and movement
• Set up and break down camera equipment efficiently
• Support lens changes, camera builds, and equipment preparation
• Collaborate with the director and DP to achieve the required visual style
• Ensure camera operation remains consistent, smooth, and precise
• Work closely with the camera team, gaffer, and grip departments
• Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment integrity on set
• Capture b-roll, cutaways, and supplementary shots as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Cameraman/Camera Operator on films, music videos, or web series
• Strong understanding of camera systems (Sony, RED, ARRI, Blackmagic, Canon, etc.)
• Ability to operate stabilisers, tripods, sliders, and handheld rigs
• Solid understanding of framing, focus pulling, and camera movement
• Ability to work quickly under production timelines and direction
• Good teamwork skills and on-set awareness
• Technically confident with camera assembly, rigging, and basic troubleshooting

BONUS SKILLS (ADVANTAGEOUS)

• Experience with drones or gimbals (DJI Ronin, Freefly Movi, etc.)
• Experience with Steadicam or shoulder rigs
• Basic understanding of lighting setups
• Experience shooting action, thriller, or cinematic sequences
